CVA represents the interests of Colorado's Veterans and their families in
several ways.

LOBBYING GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS: CVA brings Veterans
issues to the forefront by providing elected with expertise on a wide
variety of issues relevant to Veterans such as PTSD, military readiness,
access to VA benefits and other topics of importance.

LEGISLATIVE ACTION: Starting several months ago, CVA began
compiling a study detailing the current condition of Veterans in
Colorado. When complete, this report will be presented to the
Colorado Division of Veterans Affairs and the relevant committees in
the Colorado State Legislature where it will used to guide policy
decisions the affect the Centennial State's Veterans.

COMMUNITY EVENTS: By organizing workshops, retreats and
forums that promote cross generational camaraderie among Veterans
of all conflicts and eras, CVA strengthens the bonds between fellow
Veterans.

MEDIA RELATIONS: CVA believes that Veterans issues are America's
issues. From health care to national security to foreign policy, the
issues that most impact Veterans are vitally important to America at
large. CVA utilizes the unique perspective of Veterans to bring
relevance to these important topics  and provides Veterans a voice in
the national dialogue.
